If it's not sped up, he wouldn't have been able to keep that pace all day! I'd race him over 2 months any time. Pine beetle? Dude, they only attact trees at least 5 years old I thought.... But what do I know, my bro is the forester. We put out so many natural forest fires, the entire borel forest is unnaturly old, and then mother nature shows up with pine beetles...

This looks sped up, however slightly. Either that or maybe he is ;-) Anyway, let's get to the bottom of some prevailing crap here. Why are they planting pine when the pine beetle is still a problem? At the UBC research forest in Maple Ridge is the Monsanto Loon Lake Classroom (impressive building). The trees being planted are likely GMO. M should be for Mutilated. Either way, they play God blindfolded. Aggregate fungicide use weakened the forest into blight inviting the beetle to run rampant.

For everyone here.... that speaks re-plant and no replant..... I think the bottom line have to do with contract specs.... and how closey you ride the line. good pace... smooth with the shovel.

This dude is slutting, go back on those lines and check those trees. open holes and shallow trees with air pockets. Anyone can rip around like that with a camera on them. I was there, he puked 10 times that day. He was a drunk from Grand Prairie. They pulled him off the street and sent him into a block that was already planted last year. those were all ghost lines.

treeplanting aside, SWEET fucking choice of song. Slowcoaster are one of my favorite bands by far and can't get high is one of my favorite songs by them.... saw them two nights ago and they burnt the place to the ground. long live east coast music!!
