Friar Reto Davatz's Ordination to the Priesthood (video one)

On a recent Saturday, Friar Reto Davatz was ordained to the priesthood at the Conventual Franciscan Friars' St. Raphael Parish in Burlington, Ontario. This parish is currently his home.

In this first video of a series we present to you the moment when Friar Justin Biase - Reto's minister provincial - called him forward to begin the ordination. Bishop Douglas Crosby - who actually ordained Friar Reto - also speaks in the video about what it means to be ordained a priest in the context of our faith. He also touches on Friar Reto's own journey to the priesthood.
