Straight Time - Bank Robbery

A scene from the 1978 cult film, STRAIGHT TIME. Stars a mustached Dustin Hoffman as a criminal trying to go 'straight' after being released from prison.
He and partner-in-crime Jerry (Harry Dean Stanton) rob a bank and take home the cash.

My personal top favorite scene in the entire film.

This is a great scene and a great movie! If you've never read the novel "No Beast So Fierce" (on which "Straight Time" is based), do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of it as soon as you can. It's probably the best crime novel ever written.

Yes, you should. It is great! Harry Dean Stanton rocks! He cracked me up as he demanded everyone to get on the G.D... floor! He's hilarious and the whole supporting cast is incredible!!! It's a shame that this particular film is unknown. As usual, gems like this do not appeal to the commercial world. One of Dustin Hoffman's best!
