WEP Crack in 2:09 Final

This is the final version of my cracking videos, it has much better zooms than the other one. This is a vid of me cracking my own WEP 128 bit encrypted wireless router. This is difficult to set up and learn to speed the process, so try it yourself before poking fun at me. I used Ubuntu 7.10 and aircrack-ng during the cracking phase, and I used Vegas 6 on windows for the video.

how do you crack a WEP signal in Windows? i dont want no crappy ubuntu installed just to do that

LMFAO ubuntu is the shit dude u do realize ubuntu can pretty much do what windows does right? It even runs windows programs LMFAOOOOOO... even the tabs and the graphical effects like the windows when u see them all 3D... that can be done in ubuntu my fav effect(wich existed long before VISTA) is that sky dome cube thing... good shit.

Best of all they have 3D games ALL FREE how the hell is that crappy?

Yes, Linux is the bomb-diggity, and yes, you do have to patch your drivers in order to enter managed mode. You also have to have a card capable of entering managed mode.

Run a wordlist if the password is simple, or run it against a rainbow table. You can find all this stuff on the net.

yea... the only thing is Ubuntu sorta lie they're motto or something i belive is everything should "just work" thats bull... most of the time Everything will "just work in windows" cuz most hardware is designed for WINDOWS. Besides hardware issues printers, cameras, cellphones, and anything else that connects to usb linux is bomb. The only reason i think linux is'nt ready to compete against windows is becuase of hardware but alot of stuff is starting to work for the rest i keep win for that.

im really jammed on one step, the first command runs fine, the second command (i forget wich one) says attack failed... do i have to patch my drivers for my wireless card? (Please say no LOL) if so some one guide me cuz i never patched drivers via terminal. :(
