Just because she identifies with Atheist does not make her a bad person. Religion is a way for one to identify and relate to Morality. The Bible is the Christian equivalent to the Quran, the Torah, or even Aesop's Fables. Live and let live, treat others the way you wish to be treated, pay your taxes... Angie is more intelligent and well-spoken than many Christians - it is not because she is no longer Christian, nor would she be any better if she were still Christian.

My experience was all right. I kept telling them i don't like grape kool-aid but they kept forcing the shit on me. Now they're all in the other room sleeping and I'm up alone again watching youtube. Fuckin stinks in here.

There's a difference from reading the bible and understanding it. I can say I've read a Spanish book but I don't understand what is really being said.

I'm agnostic. When I talk about soda, I get really mad. That's why I only drink Dr. Pepper. 23 Flavors you don't know for sure.

Your grandmother was not really a Christian, she invented some crazy ass religion for herself. I feel so sorry for you, I don't think Jesus was ever part of your life, it was some seriously disturbed "religion" that your grandmother made up. You should be angry with her, not with God. He didn't do it, she did.
"Read the bible when I was THREE". I now believe every thing you say!

@polarstar3 I'm sorry if your delayed cognition and reading skills make it difficult for you to understand a different life.

that's a cult? sounds more like my family's definition of "a good christian family." I had a similar experience. Given I did go to public school. After all, that gave me the opportunity to spread the word of God to those who were not blessed to be brought up in a Christian family. However, I always assumed this to be a normal christian up-bringing O_o

@fatesealer94 I think what is "normal" depends on denomination, region, family level of religiosity, etc. and can vary a lot. Most people I know, both current Christians and former, view my childhood as on the extreme end.
