  • disagree man..i think ortiz is going to make it close and maybe win...and mccloskey will go deep with khan..its gonna be late tko for khan..or mccloskey goes the distance...or mccloskey by ko......mccloskey is not getting a decision though

  • @KingFinger69 If you're right I'm definitely giving you credit for calling upsets in both.

  • I think you might be sleeping on Ortiz, I think he will knock Berto out cold pretty early. I think the stigma of quitter has gotten to Ortiz where he wont ever quite again and people who seen Berto spar have seen him go down from many weaker shots than from Victor. Just my 2 cents

  • @duclacrotch I hope you're right but considering Victor couldn't finish a smaller, hurt Peterson in his previos fight I don't see him stopping Berto.

  • path of least resistance sums up berto for me, too. he's got skills, but let's test 'em!

funny thing is i'm more excited about this fight than any other one out there, short of mayweather vs. pacquiao. i don't know why. i hope it turns out a good one, but we'll see.

i was on the fence as to who would win but you convinced me. we'll see.

  • @maskedmillionaire I'm surprised you're more excited for this than either of next weekends bantam bouts or Froch vs Johnson which is the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Almost happened huh? But Victor showed that he was never gonna quit, he took some massive MASSIVE shots from berto and kept coming. I got salido too after seeing Juan Ma looking round as a basketball and then hearing about all his personal problems. Bodog owes me some money man, great day. The only underdog I didn't take was McCloskey, I wonder how anyone could see his fights and think that Paul would have a chance is beyond me.

  • berto v ortiz both men down like 4 times already and we r on rd 7 this is fight of the year candidate ortiz ahead by 2 points but getin somewhat tired ill post the fight here when its over

  • @916Chris yeah, it's weird. i've been critical of berto (for the haiti thing--i think it was a convenient way to duck a big fight) and oritz (he quit and showed he lacks moxie). just my opinions, of course. nonetheless, this fight intrigues me. there's a certain soap opera feel to it that's drawing me in. hopefully it doesn't disappoint!

also, Froch is going to clean up against Johnson as much as i hate to admit it.

  • i think your selling ortiz a little short stylewise i see a similar style matchup to miguel cotto vs shane mosley

  • @5446mick My bad and you're right for the most part. That said, Khan, easy.

  • @chadmichaels19 Thanks for the info, curious to see how he does after seeing you pick the upset.
