  • Wonderful video! Just back from seeing the Hen Harriers live at Muirshiel Country Park outside Lochwinnoch! Two chicks so far in their nest. Fabulous project and recommended to all.

  • fantastic!!!!

  • Great insight - saw three pairs only this evening, here in Western France...

  • There critters, get the partridges, when prince harry shot one of these, hell of a shot!

  • They breed near us on the Cork/Kerry border but sadly I only saw a few adults in the spring no sign of any since. Apparently the bad weather this summer affected their breeding this year.

  • White-tailed Sea Eagles were re-introduced into County Kerry and Red Kites were re-introduced into County Wicklow both in summer 2007.

  • those birds are awesome! do they corkscrew just for fun? if not, they must be entertaining, haha, crazy

  • We have hen harriers also here in Ireland, mostly in the south east, Co. Cork, Clare, Kerry and Galway. They are protected as an annex 1 species in the Habitats Directive I believe. For land owners its like what happened in the PWN in the USA with the White spotted Eagle I think. We are also re-introducing the White Tipped Sea Eagle to Co. Clare the birds are comming from Norway

  • Love the harriers. Nice vid.

  • Great footage! These birds are truly amazing!
