Dan Rather Reports 2 of 3 - A Few Good Men, A Lot Of Bad Water. Episode 334, aired 10/16/2008 - A former Marine Corps drill sergeant believes toxic chemicals in the water supply at Camp Lejeune, NC, led to the death of his daughter. I served in 1976 and I believe it caused my bladder cancer. There are many of us who were poisoned. If you were born or served on this base, you need to get informed. Start at www.tftptf.com

  • Rosie, I am sure at this time, with all that the Marines have been through, that they have continual monitoring if not even some alternate supply that is known to be good. It doesn't hurt to ask them at the housing office.... Take care.

  • No Marine left behind????? yeah right my address has been known by the Va and DOD since my wife Staioned at New River Air Staion when she died in 1984 along with my son (car accident not illness) and I started drawing compensation from the VA for DIC (Dependants Indemnity Compensation) so why was I not notified before I found out, quite by accident, about it on a news blurb from another site. after I registered with the ATSDR registry then and only then did I get notified.

  • I love this "Sir we want to find every former resident' I found it by the news never heard a thing. But how could they find us, its not like they have our social security numbers. Dont pay tax for a few years see how fast they find you

  • I hope you are well, my daugther had A.L.L she is fine now.

  • Regarding civil rights in USMC - HA!

Sorry to be blunt 'sobaez', but the truth of the matter is that known toxic wells were kept supplying water to enlisted Marines and their dependents.

Commanding Generals are responsible for inflating their resumes, so they get their next star or choice assignment, and then getting a cush job on the board of a defense contractor. Any problems like toxic water get kicked down the road to their replacement.

    Hope that answers your question.

  • The last section shows an outstanding Marine officer. Sent to comment, he won't since he wasn't there and isn't an expert, - at least that's what he said on the video.

Seems like general grade officer material to me.

Rest assured America, in the past 30 years, all these secret memo and email writers, officers all, got their next promotion or retired with full honors. I got the leukemia.

Regarding the commanding generals: see no evil, hear no evil, say no evil.

    Semper Toxic

  • What are the responsibilities of the Commanding Generals? Our son and daughter serving and their families have civil rights, and human rights. This case shows calculation and disregard for human life.

  • Myself and Father were stationed there. I had a son die of birth defects and my freind died at 40 from cancer. Is there any attornies representing us?

  • My first son died there,my wife wet crazy,i have health problems, semper fi?
