Does jailbreak update an iPod?I have 2.2.1 and I can't download any apps because it's says requires update to 3.0 or 4.0.....please help me I get it

i jailbreaked my ipod and then i accidently dropped it into water and then i brought it to the apple shop and they couldnt fix ot so they gave me a new ipod

hey guys dont worry about apple finding out that your ipod is actually jail broken, u may lose ur warranty but u can simply restore your ipod and apple wont run tests on your ipod unless there is something wrong with it, the average problem is the screen breaks or a button breaks, they wont run tests on ur ipod for that and if they do need to scan ur ipod .... then something must be very wrong with it like a bug or something other than those things its fine, good vid tho
