Terrible silence!

My dad served with the British forces in the 50's in Malaya (Malaysia today), their next station was to have been Vietnam to support the French and American forces. They were on alert to go for 2 days and then told to stand down as they never went. My dad did bring back a cool pic of 3 platoon members holding the heads of 2 enemy soldiers, sans body. This must have been where the idea of "Good Morning Vietnam" came from.
