  • Do you show this technique in your dvd, I was wanting to get it, and just curious what you demonstrate in it.

Also what are your settings for these pedals looks like loose springs what about the VDL where is that set?

  • @kentsmedblom

    YES

Swivel is broken down on the dvd tim waterson dot net has a link to paypal

All my pedals have different settings but overall for speed tighter springs more control looser springs.

    Thanks for the interest

    tim

  • @Oli4drums that might be the video where he says 'swivelling is pointless' - ie the only reason his foot appears to do that is becasue that's how he is balancing himself while using his ankles. if you keep your feet flat down and try and go from zero movement to 2oo bpm movement, it's understandable that it feels tight, ungainly and hard to get going. just like going from a rest to 200bpm using finger technique. so, he sort of whips his legs a bit, like one would with the arms/hands - that's it.

  • @queenmcsleaze Many of the speed kings, and there's a video some where in which George himself says it can be detrimental.

  • @Oli4drums are you for real? says who?

  • The swivel technique is sooo bad for your knees in the long term. Don't aim to swivel when you play, but if you swivel a bit naturally, that's alright. George Kollias had to have surgery on his knees from swiveling too much, now he tries to teach people to use other methods or to only swivel once every two or three strokes.

  • wow u can play as fast as me with one foot.

    maybe i should keep practicing

  • hey Tim, you can't put your hands on shoes!!!

    it's not correct.......(obviously I'm joking) XD

    but when you practice,

you do all of those feet-technique in a day

or practicing one by one in more days?

    (sorry for my bad english)

  • @TimWaterson Thanks tim im a big fan of yours!!!
