Nile Monitor Lizard

This is a Nile monitor I rescued. They have become disposable pets due to their cheap price and also because they get very big. People usually no longer want to keep them because they get too large for them to keep, they eat a lot, defacate often, and they have a tendency to be aggressive. These lizards grow to about seven feet in length, and will eventually need a large enclosure. So do your homework before purchasing one of these lizards.

Thanks! They are really awesome. Sure they can be aggressive, but if you work with them enough they can be tame.  But I am sure you know that. Too many of the wrong people get their hands on these though. I'll check out your videos!

@seedling345 Either that or the fact that its a Nile and they eat everything they see. My nile loves Captain Crunch. But of corse he cant have alot because im sure it is not good for him what so ever.
