  • I drive a cart for my council. It amazes how some people talk to us. To members of the public, we are nothing but sub-standard beings. I always wander, how would THEY feel if random people turned up at their workplace and started shouting, swearing and calling them some of the names they call us.

  • Totally agree WheelieMac, I'm a binman, we get it a lot.

  • Dustmen can't win to be honest. We are either in the road too early, to late, during the rush hour, during the kiddie school run, during the day, during the week .... no time is a good time for 'Joe Public'. Interestingly though, miss their bin and they soon throw their toys out of the pram. People need to realise that if they throw crap out, somebody has to take it away, but they seem unable to follow the simple logic of that equation.
