sharing a 12V line from the molex plug with a HDD is easy to do and each fan only takes like 3W to run... just connect the positive to the yellow wire (12V) and the negative to the ground (black wire)

I don't see any reason you couldn't just hook up those fans to the PSU... Most PSU's worth the cost will have plenty of power to power those fans.

this can destroy your mother board, a USB overload is easy to happen.
It's a better idea plug it directly on 12Vcc.
