Following the suspension of seniors Curtis Kelly and Jacob Pullen for impermissible benefits, the Wildcats fell to the UNLV Rebels 63-59.

K-State went into halftime with a 34-31 lead thanks to a half court buzzer-beater from Nick Russell. The Rebels forced 11 turnovers in the second half resulting in nine points. Russell led the Wildcats with 12, followed by 11 from both Rodney McGruder and Jamar Samuels and 10 from Martavious Irving.
