Maya hates autodidates =.= Everything I try to load does not come with the textures and I have no Idea how to load the textures into the models, it's so unfriendly, unlike MMD >.>

is it possible to import these models with or without animation into 3ds max or unity 3d?

Whenever I try to import a .FBX file, it seems to import a skeleton for each animation which messes the whole thing up as it's impossible to work with it. I'm very new to the program though. But how can I load it in as just one skeleton and easily use the different animations?

For me that’s fascinating. It’s impressive how a good texture can smooth a low polygonal model, it makes the difference
As concernd 3ds yes, use Milkshape 3D, it's a quite useful import/export program

How did you import the models, I've saved them as .fbx and then tried to import them and the program encounters an error and shuts down.

@ShrinkmasterX
if a file crash during the import you cannot import .FBX for that character. You can only open the file in .OBJ mode (without skeleton and animations).
In general I found that models called ''creatures'' in WowModelViewer list can be imported on Maya in booth .OBJ & .FBX mode, ''characters'' can only be imported as .OBJ file.
