The song "Hot Rod Lincoln" was actually written about a race up this hill in the 1940's. Commander Cody is a cover of it in the '70s.

@jgturk Actually, the Old Spiral Highway starts in North Lewiston, not east of town. I know because I'm a native of Lewiston, Idaho, having been born and raised there. Good to see a video of the drive up the hill. I haven't driven the highway in about 10 years as I no longer live in Lewiston.

@MrChevy1966 Interesting that you were able to maintain an average speed of over 120mph on this road. Considering it's 10 miles long. Not bad for a 66 Chevy!

On the southern Washington / Idaho border. Google Lewiston, Idaho. It should be just east of town. :)
