UP Centennial Pacing & Runbys West Of Cheyenne, Wy

I want to make sure that all who watch this video know I'm NOT taking credit for filming this video. It was shot by WB Video Proudctions (http://www.railfanvideo.com/catalog/vie wall.aspx). I have no intent of infrenging on somebodys copyright. I only wish to share these clips with fellow railfans who appreciate these shots for what they are.

Now that I've placed my disclasmer, here we go:

Here's a locomotive no longer seen on the rails these days. They're nicknamed Centennial and bacsically they're two locomotives in one. I have no idea what the power specs were but they're impressive to look at.

I know there's some of these locomotives saved at rail museiums & if you have the chance to get near one, go for it. They're really big!

Kind of interesting how the Centennials were foreshadowing the coming of modern widecab units. What a loco! Its cool how UP keeps one running.

Those SD40-2s are actually !dwarfed! by the Centennial!
