Clock Tower 3, despite the name, is the 4th game under the Clock Tower name.
The game is considerably different than its previous counterparts, as it's no
longer a point and click adventure, but is more similar to Capcom's other
survival horror games.
You play a young 14-year old girl named Alyssa Hamilton, who's been sent off to
boarding school by her mom. Just shortly before her 15th birthday, she
receives a letter from her mom to go into hiding. Around this same time, a phone
call comes from her mom, but there is no answer on the other end. Worried, she
returns home to find the place empty, save for a mysterious dark man. Thus her
adventure begins...
Chapter 2
Segment 4
Mr. Corroder, meet Holy Water. Also to note, I take the pathway through the
kitchen to get into the upstairs bedroom, because taking the "correct" route is a
bad move. That's because (outside of camera view...go figure) is Corroder, so
when I head towards the kitchen, he sprays me, sending me to about 96% panic
level. It also plops me on my ass. Plus showing the disappearing madman glitch
is funny.
Next to note is when I go over the board that collapses in the sewer. This is
intentional. Doing this makes the dead man that I must give the letter to be
revealed.
After getting the shawl, I run my skinny little ass away and barely make it to
the door before panic mode sets in. So in the midst of this chapter, I make
use of 0/2 evade points, the only time that evade points are available to me in a
chapter and I don't use any of them. There are other evade points in the game
I don't use (I believe just the oven in Chapter 4) but here I just flat out
don't use any. Or any hiding places for that matter.
Yeah, I'm just that tough. A rough and tough young 'un.
Other Questions
Q4 -- Is this run improvable?/You still are the suck./Your run sucks.
A -- Nobody is a perfect player. Not even Mike Uyama (sorry Mike!). While I
don't see any drastic improvements, I did get a couple extra messages that popped
up that aren't required: the warning message behind the curtain, the 1st board
walking message above the auditorium, and somebody could certainly get better
luck against Scissorwoman. And then there's the ability to somehow beat Lord
Burroughs' ass with a super powerful shot (I don't call it a finishing arrow
since outside of Sledgehammer, it's possible for everybody else to survive it).
