Mojib-Ribbon: Official Trailer

This is the Japan-only semi-sequel to Vib Ribbon, a game released in Japan and Europe only. It was made by Masaya Matsuura/ NanaOn-Sha. It follows a similar concept of Vib Ribbon, but uses text files to create kanji based rhythm. You can also (apparently) make your own music in the text file, and share it using the Playstation 2 Online feature, so they can literally play your message. It came out on November 20th, 2003. And like I said, it's only in Japan, so good luck finding/playing it if you live in Europe or the US.

@DanielBMS The up motion moderates how much ink goes into the writing. A perfect amount gives you more points than if there's too little or too much.

It does not use other CD's. Instead, its level of customization takes the riffs in-game and allows you to create your own "raps" of sorts with its word editor. At the time you could share your creations with others online.

The general consensus, however, is that Vib-Ribbon was a better game due to its unique charm and lasting playability.
