Throwing Muses-Counting Backwards,Live on The Late Show, UK

Throwing Muses perform 'Counting Backwards' on the Late Show in the UK. I only unearthed this video tonight. I didn't know I had this performance, it was on a compilation of the late night arts programme that was on ages ago. There was also a great performance by Public Image Limited of 'Disappointed', which I have the whole song somewhere. The end of the song was recorded over so I had to fade it out.

Throwing Muses 1st album was ground breaking. They have their own sound , their influences cannot be ascertained. They are so complex that no-one has dared copy them. The sound at times is dystonic, but when they find a melody it just carries you off. One of the most original bands ever.

Real Ramona was thier worst album...Ill take any one before and after...maybe half the album was good....counting backwaord, golden things, red shoes, two steps....

The real ramona is my favourite throwing muses album, so many great tracks. Red Heaven is also great, Kristin's insanity is delicious.
