  • I would have been the jerk that could have immediately rattled off my gratitude for my stepfather. My mother treated him like crap for much of 25 years and left him 9 years ago for another man.

He stepped up to the plate to be my dad; not just for a day, or a marriage... but every single day & still is. More than food, clothes, college and culture for me and my 5 siblings. He's never been under any obligation to be that guy. I'm 40 now. I made it, if not for him, then only because of him.

  • @Jafromobile Thanks for watching, and contributing maybe the best answer we could have gotten for this question.

  • One day I was crying really hard at the grocery store, I was having a really hard time dealing with the things going on in my life at the time, I was shopping alone and I just didn't feel very happy. A lady in front of me in the grocery line was buying flowers, and after she paid for her groceries and flowers, it was my turn to get my groceries rung through. She turned to me and gave me the flowers and told me everything will be OK.I will never forget that or her. Thank you Lillian Doran xo

  • Couple Leafs fans in there.

  • To pick one item of generosity from someone is immpossible The support I had from so many people in my life growing up on the Miramichi was amazing. My family, my friends and my teachers, I felt, all had genuine interest in my endeavors. In my life today, when things feel like it's getting out of hand or the company grind is maxing out my stress gauge, I think about all the people back home who would be there for me no matter what and all the worry goes away GrowingUp in Miramichi= Generosity

  • pretty slick,,,,

  • @MiramichiOnline I hope I haven't won the thread already! I'm just one guy! I wish for everyone on the internets to share 500 characters of gratitude here, it would make the world a better place.

This was an incredible, thought provoking video. Miramichi has to be an amazing place to be if everyone there thinks like you do.
