  • @gavquinn Port polishing? They're fly-cutting the block to move the cylinder head closer to the piston, consequently decreasing the volume of the combustion chamber when the piston is at top dead center. This is to increase compression ratio. As long as the valves don't now hit the piston, and the grade of fuel is good enough not to detonate, we get more power. You need to watch what's happening in the video next time before commenting. Sorry.
