Not to split hairs, but Mel was not born in Grundy. He was born and raised in Rowe VA. which is about 20 miles from Grundy.

Wow. I had almost forgotten about this great country singer. Many of the best artists of yesterday met with tragedy. It doesn't seem right but I guess its part of living here on this planet. Thanks for the video. Cheers..
