Back home in Georgia, we would call this "living in the sticks."

I loved the countryside. (Lil Bear did too for awhile).

  • this is my hometown... i know that mcdonalds... it's only 5 minutes walking distance from my house... hope you liked your visit... did you go to the "palenque"??? also, what was your favorite meal during your trip???

  • The motel suited me just fine. We rode to the nearby dam for some sight seeing. Fresh buko was always delightful. Garlic rice was always good as well as fresh pineapple. Banan Que, fried chicken, roasted pork belly... I could not get enough!

  • YES!!! its my place santiago city!! mabuhay..pag balik ko diyan tour ulit kami kasama ng anak ko..yeheyyyyyy!!! kita kita ulit tayo mga kababayan ko sa pinas!!!

  • I hope you enjoyed the video. Sadly, I don't speak / read / write tagalog.

    All the best to you!

  • I need to make something like this next time I go back home to Philippines.

  • I recommend using at least a 1 gb memory card. Also, get re-chargeable batteries and a charger.

  • Santiago is more organize now. Dont compare it to places like Tuguegarao. Santiago is more organize ever since. Other cities in North Luzon particularly in region two are even more dirty and very messy. I just wish all city govts will work harder.

  • well sir im from santiago city isabela all i can say yes its crowded in santiago,

  • kilala nyo po sa christopher silverio taga santiago isabela?

  • no offense, but how did it become a city when it's so dirty? no sewer system, the downtown traffic is so terrible! mcdonald has a tiny parking space. i like tuguegarao or those big towns in nueva vizcaya better than santiago.but i like the "deocitas"(?) motel/resort in rizal, santiago. i live in usa now but i came from small town in northern part of isabela. also i visit isabela every year.

  • when did that mcdonalds get there? when i was there in 97 and 98 no clue there would be a mcdonalds

  • If your visiting family and with family/friends go luggage, if your by yourself and taking in the whole country there's no beating backpacking.

Or if you have too much time on your hands, DO BOTH! Bring your luggages and backpacks and then drag your relatives in a cross-country adventure! :D LOL
