  • @shivlee

without elaborating...great effort, but I agree with shivlee. Especially since this is posted for training purposes, I don't feel it is a very good set of examples...especially for children who essentially mimic what is being shown to them.

  • i've been an indian classical dancer for over 15 years and u have no grace in ur movements

  • Great sense of rthythm and you've mastered the tukras vey well, but for this to be a good training video it'd need some theory to add, like what are the movements called (urdhva chakra hasta etc.) and how and when they're used. Also, your movements look pretty much bharatnatyam-like, you should stretch your arms a little less expressively, strain them less and add some fluency.

  • hi Sita I am sohail and engineer with love for kathak. I saw your kathak on youtube and had tears in my eyes. I believe that ladies who do kathak and such footwork are devis (goddesses) and deserve worship of their feet. And yes I am worshipping your feet and wish you allow me to worship your ghungaroo clad feet always. I dont do kathak but I am learning tabla to play for it. Please be my friend.

    Regards Sohail
