Sun Group has unveiled the world's smallest Pint-size Personal Digital Signage Player THE Digital TAG, the Sun Groups version of a personal digital signage player, can deliver tailored video messages to customers in retail stores. THE Digital TAG (Model No.: SUN-SG824), a wearable digital signage player the size of a 2.4inch name tag that delivers a message through professional video content on a 320 x 240 resolution screen. According to the company, it designed this tiny digital signage marketing tool to enable retail employees to deliver tailored messages to every customer. The Digital TAG turns location-specific marketing and sales messages into a one-on-one employee/customer interaction. Other applications the company suggests include employee orientation and training, job fairs, conventions and social events. THE Digital TAGs content can be set to display individual store specific messaging like specials, company wide marketing or any combination of the two using AVI or JPEG content. New content can be easily uploaded using a mini SD card and mini USB interface, the company said.

The unit size: 64 x 48 x 10 mm, weighs just 59 gram and averages three to five hours of playback time on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
