It was not sung by both sides; not by the traitors: "let us die to make men free" it says.

I like when he said a person does not have to be rich to own a song
-
why does he strum his guitar on the fretboard and not on the sound hole? i've noticed he does it all the time...

Oh Christ, I totally got chills listening to this.

@TheBuster31 correct CSA #1 we did not loose we gave up :::

@Nateh918 Jews dislike this because God refers to them as his bad grapes
(Isaiah 5:7) For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
Try reading the whole chapter or better yet the the Bible!

I don't know why, but when he pulls his guitar behind his back at 1:38, the strap looks like a bandolier or baldric, which makes him look a bit more like a minuteman. It's as if to say that he is willing to be a soldier for his God- his guitar and music as his rifle. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I can't help but think that even perhaps these subtle movements, and his marching at 3:15 makes this song all the more beautiful and meaningful, whether it was intentional or not.
