See No More 6 ✗ Lolena

The curtains were instantly pulled aside and the rays hit Selena's eyes almost as quickly as light traveled. She squinted before groaning and turning her small body around so her head was buried under her pillow. She heard a faint voice say, "Get up!" It was Demi.

Selena slowly turned on her side and rubbed her eyes. When she caught full view of Demi, she let out a soft groan. "Five more minutes?" she asked.

Demi shook her head laughing. "You have ten minutes to get ready. The baker is here from the bakery with different samples of cakes to try. You don't have to dress up, I'm in my pajamas too."

This was true. Selena sat up on the edge of the bed and noticed that Demi wasn't as dressed up as before. She was wearing tights and a comfy light cream colored sweater with her hair tied up. "You still have makeup on, that's not fair," Selena laughed softy.

"Oh, shush." Demi grabbed hold of Selena's arms and pulled her up. "Now hurry!"

Selena averted her gaze to Miley snoring lightly. "How come she gets to sleep in?"

"Hmm..." Demi tapped her finger on the side of her face gently. "How come she's not maid of honor?"

Selena rolled her eyes playfully and smiled. "I'll be down in about ten minutes." She walked into the closet and got out a navy blue tank top and a black shawl with some dark skinny jeans. After fitting herself into them within two minutes, she brushed her hair and went to bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face. After applying eyeliner, she fit hooped earrings into her ear piercings and head downstairs for the cake testing.

When Selena entered the kitchen, she almost immediately closed her eyes, inhaling the sweet smells around her. She looked at a basket of chocolates and sweet cinnamon bread and other baked goods that said, "Congratulations!" It was in a white and light purple theme and looked really nice. Demi introduced her to the chef as she seated herself next to her on the stool. Logan entered the kitchen two minutes later and Selena had refused to look in his direction though she could feel him watching her.

She wanted to look over, but was afraid of Demi noticing and assuming things only to find out the truth about their past.

The chef began to lay plates on the countertop in front of them. "We have three cakes for you guys to try after we've narrowed down by your choice over the phone," she smiled sweetly. "This one is called our 'Prince Cake', it is a rich chocolately cake layered with white velvet cake and classic raspberries and Bavarian cream. We top it off with marzipan fondant." She watched as they each took a bite. All of their reactions were the same and caused her assistant to quickly rush the plates away. Selena took a small bite and refused to eat anymore. She didn't like raspberries and chocolate combined into one. It was either chocolate or vanilla for her, despite her love for red velvet cakes.

The next cake looked pretty because it was already covered in fondant. "This is our 'Black'n'White' cake. It's layers of rich dark chocolate caked filled with a smooth creamy white mousse," Selena and Demi seemed to like it, but Logan had just said it was alright. They tried the final tasting and seemed to all agree that it was good. It was a chocolate cake layered in ganache and mousse.

Selena was almost done with her plate and this caused her to laugh.

"Oh, I remember you adore chocolate," Demi stated, laughing at her. "You got something on your face," and before Selena could ask, confused, Demi wiped a bit on her cheek.

"Hey!" Selena giggled. "It's okay, more for me." She turned to look at Logan and found he was already staring at her. This brought her mood down as she forced another small smile and laugh at Demi's way.

The doorbell rang and Demi looked over at it. "Who could that be?"

"Oh, Joe and Taylor said they were almost here an hour ago," Logan spoke. "I think it's them."

"Oh, great!" Demi grinned and stood up. "I'll go check it out," she kissed Logan's cheek and walked out of the kitchen, leaving Logan, the chef, her assistant and Selena all behind.
