Drop D is a total copout. Especially when you consider such talented people as Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, and Disturbed use it. That's sarcasm for those of you who don't understand my phrasing.

Also...I would never consider it appropriate to criticize someone for NOT using drop D. Among many guitarists, drop D is viewed as a kind of cop-out tuning, since most bands simply use it because it negates the need to actually know how to play a chord xD...If a guitar is in drop D, just about anyone could walk up and play a song on it.
