@MrCeej9999 Terribly wrong. This is just another Jazz-Rock song. A thousand of 'em. Rolling Stones fans really don't know what punk is, I mean Respectable punk? Huh? Are you folks high? NOOOOO The Stooges, MC5, New York Dolls were the pre-punks and then of course came the Ramones and the Pistols and Clash followed.

Definitely pre-punk. The first time any singer produced such a ranting, angry, rock and roll delivery
Punk derived from songs such as this, as well as a few Dylan numbers.
Listen to the Sex Pistols, and in truth, it is just Johnny Rotten shouting over very basic rock and roll/blues riffs like this

while raising hell they became pioneers of the later punk rockabilly style... awesome
probably one of their most highly energized,full throttle songs they ever made.Lots of pre-punk elements!!
