I played most of the MegaMan/RockMan games and they don't even come CLOSE to FF7 in depth, emotion, storyline...anything really. But you're honestly comparing apples and oranges anyway. I have yet to play a game that pulls you into the story on the level that FF7 did (Xenogears, Chronotrigger and a few other RPGs have come pretty damned close but they just couldn't touch FF7 in that respect).

Back when I first played and saw this, I had a big crush on Tifa and only used Aerith when I had to, so I wasn't super-sad personally when this happened. But still... it's a beautifully tragic scene, and I always appreciated that "beautiful" aspect of it. Very relevant scene also for the plot and character development, of course.

I didnt play this game back in the days, i started it about 1 week ago and just finished it.

Not once did i cared about the graphics, i was so captivated by the experience i just coudnt stop!

Best game ever.

look, games arent about graphics, are about good gameplay, just look at super mario bros, has terrible graphics, yet it is one of the most downloaded titles in the pc.

still... FF7, Chrono Trigger, and Secret of Mana are still some of the best games ever made.
