An exploration of an inner city Detroit neighbourhood that no longer exists.

Where a thriving neighbourhood equipped with parks, homes and schools once stood all that remains are the odd resident, packs of wild dogs, pheasants and other wildlife.

A topical subject indeed now that Detroit mayor Dave Bing looks into the prospect of turning such areas into Urban farming communities.

  • Micheal Moore, god bless his passion, calls this capitalism. He is dead wrong and it is sad because he cares, but he's very ill-informed. This is the result of the very thing he pushes for. This is classic socialism at work. This is what it creates. Look at history, it's always the same result. It simply doesn't work

  • He says "I don't know what happened." Well, I do. Detroit tried to build a welfare city, they called it the model city. Everyone was on welfare and they wanted it. They built houses, they gave handouts, they had their own little brand of socialism going on. What happened? It created more poverty. The folks who were working got sick of paying for it, so they all left. At some point so many people left, it crashed the system entirely. We need to look no further to realize welfare doesnt work!
