The National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) presented and exhibited technology for the "practical application of microwave high-temperature furnaces that reduce fuel costs by half" at the 2008 Autumn Innovation Japan exhibition held in Tokyo.
NIFS is researching this technology around the clock in order to achieve nuclear fusion and plasma on the earth and thereby create visionary artificial sunlight and use the resulting energy from that sunlight. NIFS is also conducting top-down technical research so that new technology discovered in the process of this ambitious research project can be more quickly accessed and used to benefit our existing industrial infrastructure.
Scientists believe that nuclear fusion will be achieved on the earth in another 28 years.
This is nothing new.
