The media are dupes to the NWO. And steering the sheeple towards whatever they desire.

We Love Ron Paul!! No matter what the Media says. Wish I owned The Media, then I could speak my peace.

Well, as I mentioned, I don't even think most of it is about giving people what they want. It's about giving people what the owners of this country feel the people in the country need in order for the owners to get what they want.
Remember, the men behind the curtain don't want an educated population. They want obedient workers (even if they're zombies). If it weren't for my DVD player and VCR, I'd throw my TV in the garbage.

That is the misconception. It IS entertainment. Totally market driven as it should be. No news outlet can be altruistic, deliver the news in that manner , and survive. You will get what sells. Republicans counter this phenomenon by meeting every Sunday without the media interfering. Some democrats are so radical in some areas that they just upset moderates. Libertarians are notoriously independent minded and do not network well, despite the internet. Replublicans have it figured out.

I'm sorry to say that the media is very rigidly controlled and they DO WANT TO FORCE THINGS DOWN OUR THROATS. Even if any of it is to give us what they think we want, it's important to provide a fair and balanced view of all the candidates; rather than pushing ones that they think we think we want. This is news; not entertainment.
The only thing I can come up with is Ron Paul must exciting and scaring the same people. Perhaps the same people who want more privacy protection are scared of his position on abortion or guns. What was supposed to bridge the gap may simply be upsetting people on both sides of the aisle instead. Not sure.

You're entitled to your opinion, and while I believe that this may be true in some cases, I believe that most cases are happening for the reasons mentioned in the video.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Careful in your inferences Jerry. You are assuming a CAUSAL relationship between the media coverage and Obama searches. More likely, the relationship is correlative. Also, keep in mind that there is still a very big separation between mainstream consumers and internet savvy power users, or basic internet users for that matter. I love Ron Paul, but NO ONE has been able to give a satisfactory explaination of the major difference in popularity of Ron Paul.

If you don't think the massive increase in media coverage for Obama caused the increase in web searching, then that means you think there is some third factor causing both(making this correlation as opposed to causation). If you can find a plausible third factor that is contributing to both activity increases for Obama, then I'll consider this as being a correlation.
