My Dad had this album when I was a kid - oh, about a hundred years ago! :-) We just about wore it out. Thank you so much for posting this.

@sixtiesrockboy Bad Label choice, plus She & many others got blown off the charts by the British invasion in 1964.

She would knock all these xfactor wannabes back to where they came.........this is real singing

Great drum intro and great background vocals plus of course Timi Yuro's voice add up to a fantastic record that was unfortunately mostly overlooked by DJ's in 1962.

Timi Yuro (born Rosemary Timothy Yuro, August 4, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois - died March 30, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada)

Timi was as good or better than any other girl singer of her time, or EVER! I'm surprised she did'nt have even MORE success! Maybe she did'nt have the right handlers. Does anyone know if Timi is still alive? I had heard that she had passed, but sometimes those reports are erroneous, like reports of Mark Twain's death!

So pretty and talented. The singers back then like Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, and Miss Timi Yuro did not have to depend on gimicks and sex. They had the talent and were clean-cut looking.
Timi's voice could blow most of the female singers out of the water today. Thank you for the breathtaking post.
