@sootyferrari65 16 cylinders, four-wheel drive? Four turbos? The Veyron has an eight litre engine; but engine size isn't a very good indicator of sound. Power output is, though. The BRM engine isn't at all silenced on the exhaust side, but the Veyron is; four turbos, four catalytic converters and an array of mufflers. Take all the exhaust off your own car back to the manifold and see how loud it is :P

This car is a force of nature! Even the echoes as it trundles along in the distance under the trees are just spine-tingling. Glorious :)
Not many race cars can earn a round of applause on their own, regardless of the speed they move at or the identity of the driver !
