It is certainly a self-righting boat, I agree. And they Were training, but the rollover was an accident. Contact Coast Guard Motor Lifeboat Station in Coos Bay, Oregon and they will be more than happy to explain it to you.

They are vessels like this scattered all over the UK USA GERMANY ..as long as you can afford one you can have one. even if he didn't do it intentionally it def looks like on on the boats that right's itself. You don't know if they were training and the poster just happened to get a shot of it.

Don't these coast guard ships have a very low centre of gravity which helps to keep them upright at all times? Anyway those guys inside got a hell of a ride:D

It was a accident and happend just off the south jetty of the coos bay entrance. About 60 yrds off of jetty and 100 yrds off of guano rock. this happend while training a new surfman when he went 1/4 to on the stb side. wave had a strong back
