Asia Bibi Needs Your Prayers

In this video, Ashiq shares updates on how he and his children are faring without their mother, Asia Bibi, who was sentenced to death for alleged blasphemy. Asia Bibi is a Christian woman who stands accused and convicted of blasphemy, and is awaiting a sentence of death by hanging.

While Asia Bibi waits in prison, her supporters on the outside are slowly dwindling, murdered by Muslim radicals who will stop at nothing to see her killed. Salmaan Taseer, the Governor of Punjab, openly protested the blasphemy laws and was assassinated by a member of his security team. Later, Pakistan's Minority Affairs Minister Shahbaz Bhatti was murdered by gunmen for making similar anti-blasphemy law remarks.

Asia needs your prayers *now*. Her faith remains strong, but she and her family need our continued prayer to remain steadfast in their faith and to continue being good testimonies for Jesus in Pakistan. Please remember her in your church gatherings and in your daily prayers. You are her brother or sister in Christ, and she needs her Christian family now more than ever.

Hello, just wanted you to know that in Spring 2011, I worked with a small group of 7th and 8th grade girls at my church and we wrote a letter to Asia (the girls wanted to pray for Asia especially) and so we prayed for her and her family. You are not forgotten, Asia, neither are your children or your husband!

How can they not see that the hatred in Islam is a crime against God?
