A simple use of example. Curebies seem to labour under the illusion that their children see brave crusaders, or that those who commonality with their children see them as helping. This brief video explains in no uncertain terms that the exact opposite is the case.

  • does anyone know were this clip is from? I think its from the x-men but I'm not sure about which incarnation.

  • @asperger15 The segment quoted is from a direct-to-video feature called Mosaic. The main reason I watched it in the first place is because Anna Paquin's name was in the credits. When this section played, I just had to make this video.

  • I love the way you use movie clips to voice your opinions of "Autism Speaks" and Curebies! They're so simple and true. And they make me laugh! I'm glad there are people like you on youtube.

  • Truth be told, at the moment I use snippets like this because I lack the ability (both financial and practical) to film new footage that makes the point for me. One day, I want to sit one of my proxy-characters in front of a camera with his younger granddaughter and have him explain that they are both autistic, and the preview of normalism that he was given when he was her age was so good that he rejects it utterly.

  • I would much like to understand what a neurotypical would think if they saw a world in which WE were the norm. Where Neurotypicals had the label, "Neurodislogia," instead. Where ASD individuals were working on a surgical procedure to cure you of your lack of logic. Where individuals like yourself struggle to keep up with their peers, because YOU WORRY THAT YOU'LL FORGET, AND NOT MEASURE UP AGAIN. How would you feel?

  • I dont believe there is a cure for Autism/Aspergers syndrome.

  • @KingRadbadical1988 My bad. I meant to say mutants; kinda like in the X-men.

  • @CosmoShidan I think you're a mutation, and probably not that intelligent.

  • @aspie182 No need to be mean to the guy. I disagree with him but he personally isn't attacking you, just disagreeing with something you said (which I agree with btw).

Definitely keep speaking as loud as you can though with no shame. Children are being TORTURED...I mean, think about it...CHILDREN...BEING TORTURED...FUCK BEING CIVIL!!!

As for people who simply call for us to "be more civil", I hold nothing against them. As long as they aren't on "their" side its all good and they can be won over

  • Ever wonder why good animation, whether it be American or Japanese. Seems to be going away as far as being broadcast on Mainstream T.V.. They bring up too many good points........................... Helps to be both an Aspie and a Animation Fan to notice these things........................Thank You "aspie182"!!

  • I think of aspies/austies as mutations.

  • ROMFFLMMFAO!! This video keeps getting better ever time I see it XD. It's the gift that keeps on giving LOL.
