  • @DoubleScotchNeat I didn't mean to type that. I already know that the hardware in a Mac is not made by only Apple. I didn't mean that Apple makes all the components inside. What I meant is that Apple uses limited drivers, and that their limited hardware specs are specifically designed to run perfectly well with the operating system. Apple isn't like Windows and they don't have to support such a huge variety of hardware specs. This means greater stability.

  • @blicksflicks Im a Mac fan. But you are very wrong. Look inside and you will see the hardware is made by different multiple companies. Harddrive is Hitachi, Processor is Intel, Graphics is ATi, Screen used to be Samsung (Not sure now, probably changed). However they collaborate with Apple to make the product to their specifications.

  • @blicksflicks i do know but thanks for the walkthrough very helpful :)

  • @blicksflicks ok thanks for the advice.

  • @johnnieares93 I guess you didn't know that anyone can look at their Mac hardware under "About This Mac" in the Apple menu and can tell that not all the specific components are made by only Apple. You didn't know that? Like for instance, you can see a list of your hardware components, and names like AMD for the graphics pop up. Does that mean Apple makes the it and not AMD? Nope. Glad I could explain this to you.

  • @johnnieares93 I'm not saying that the components in the Macbook Pro are all made by Apple. I'm saying that the hardware inside and the OS are made to run together perfecty on a Mac. Apple only has to deal with a limited number of drivers, so there's a lot fewer problems and greater stability. I'm not saying that Apple builds all the components. You must have misunderstood me when you called me an idiot. Why do you have to get so emotional over computer talk? You must not be very mature at all.

  • @blicksflicks Hardware is not from the same company idiot..intel is not owned by apple neither are ATI and Nvidia, i love the ability to customise my laptop and choose a different style from just one line of style like the Mac's...before you say I'm bias I'm writing this on my MacBook Pro and i love it!

  • @Metallica2131 that paying $2499 is a company spitting in my face. what proof is their for me to believe you that i shouldnt pay $2499?

  • @xXguitardude9Xx I'm not clear as to what it is you want me to try and make you believe.

  • @Metallica2131 give me reasons why i should believe you, other than general hate for apple?
