S6.5 AMG [0-100km(62ml) per hour/ 4.4 sec] Exactly the same as BMW M5!

Then, (0-200km S6.5 accelerates for 13.3 sec, M5 accelerates for 13.5sec)

Finally, the standart distance for the drag race equals 402m or 440yrd, so S6.5 AMG is 12.6 sec. M5 is 12.3sec!

As we can see, W221 S 6.5 AMG isn't faster than M5, S 6.5 AMG is faster only in the middle of race, but M5 gets finish faster! I'm tired to hear that S-class is faster than M5.

my boss drives an s65.. he whooped on an alpina the other day.. amazing ride.. rather get the cl but that merc wasn't a 65 or even an amg.. not even a 600

That was AMG S65 the driver had a bad start if you look at the end he was catching up to the BMW! =)

depends how short the race is... keep in mind the S65's power isnt that much more than the m5 until after say 150km/h where 2 turbos and twice the torque take over. and then its all over
