Watch till the END !

This is the creed of the Muslim in regards to ALLAAH's Attributes. Beware of deviants, for they will lead you astray and always confirm the beliefs of Ahlus Sunnaah from the authentic sources, and do not listen to the fables spread by the deviant devils.

May Allaah bless "paradisewoodSHFEIZ" for the video of Sheikh Feiz.

Imam Tahawiy, the one who narrated the creed of the Salaf, said in his Aqidah Tahaawiyyah:

    وَتَعَالَى اللهُ عَنِ الْحُدُوْدِ وَالْغَايَاتِ وَالْأَرْكَانِ وَالْأَعْضَاءِ وَالْأَدَوَاتِ

'Allah is above (of status) having limits, extremes, corners, limbs or instruments.'

  • @freghorn

Imam Abu Hanifah (rahimahullah) said in Al-Fiqh al Absat regarding Allah's attribute Yad:

    يَدُ اللهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيْهِمْ ، لَيْسَتْ كَأَيْدِيْ خَلْقِهِ ، وَلَيْسَتْ بِجَارِحَةٍ

'Allah's Yad is above their hands (48:10). His Yad is not like of the creation. His Yad is not a limb.'

  • @fre

Brother, the word Yad has 25 definitions in the Arabic language (see Fathul Baariy of Imam Ibn Hadjar al Asqalaaniy rahimahullah). Translating Yad to 'hand', is misleading. Because in the English language people will understand this as a limb. If you say: Allah has hands but not like ours, then you give the impression that Allah has limbs which are unfamiliar. Limbs entails shape (modality), which need to be specified. Modality cant be apply to Allah. Thats why the Salaf said: Bilaa Kayf

  • @hytata I have very little understanding of the Arabic language. Therefore, I do not say from my own flawed opinions. I obtained this information from a lecture called "The Devil's Cloak: The Dangers Of Bid'ah - Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah". He mentioned about this matter and how Allah does not have a body.

  • @freghorn

Your statement make no sense. Did you read the Arabic text of the statement? Imam Abu Hanifah (rahimahullah) said: BILAA Jism. Do you know what a jism is? Please answer my question.

  • @hytata You misunderstand. What he means is that He does not have a body, which includes the torso, and what He has not mentioned Himself. The human tendency which can be removed from our minds (which you unfortunately can't) is that a hand has to belong to an arm, and an arm has to belong to a torso. Allah does not state this about Himself, so we believe in what He says. We believe He has what ever He Himself mentions and we stop elaborating when He stops.

  • @hytata No. You misunderstand. We stop where Allah stops. If He said that He has hands, and does not elaborate any further, we do the same thing. We take the message as it is, otherwise it would have been complicated. Can you imagine Allah sending down a message that cannot be understood by the normal man? If we use plural meanings in this case, then people can interpret it however they like! So you see, there has to be only one meaning which is hand, but we don't question or deny.

You, me, the sun, Djannat, Djahannam, Hoor al Ayn, you guess it: we are all bodies (which entails modality), are in a place, have limits etc. Allah doesn't resemble His creation. Allah says in the Quran: There is nothing unto like Him (42:11).

Imam Abu Hanifah (rahimahullah) from the Salaf said:

    ومعنى الشىءِ إثباتُهُ بلا جسمٍ ولا جوهرٍ ولا عَرَضٍ

“When we say that Allah is shay’ we mean that He exists without a BODY, essence, or temporary attributes.' (Al Fiqh al-Akbar)

  • @freghorn

The problem is, you think that Allah is a giant unknown body composed of parts. A body entails size, shape etc. These are modalities. Every modality (for example shape) must be specified by someone, because a shape can't exist by itself. It needs a creator. Second, Allah attributed Himself with Yad, Wajh etc. These words has PLURAL MEANINGS in the Arabic language. Wahabis take the literally meaning of these words, which can't be applied to Allah.

  • @hytata We say Allah subhanahu wata'ala has hands but WE DON'T IMAGINE ANYTHING. This is because our minds are limited to this Dunya, and we can't imagine the hereafter. But still, we believe in the hereafter as it is (eg. there's fire in the hellfire, but unlike the fire in this world). If we can't even imagine something, how do we ascribe shapes and so on?
