which do you prefer out of the vintage and the pacifica??thx for the posting

They are both very good guitars, the Pacifica is a bit more "Modern" and has a slightly slimmer neck than the Vintage V6 Strat. They both sounds very much like teh Strats that they are based on, it really comes down to personal feel.

How is it not?

The model Number on the back of the headstock clearly says PAC412. It also matches every 412 I've ever seen. It's a 112 with a flame veneer, therefore a 412.

i haven't seen only 412 before in any shop. may be i am confused with 412V which has a smaller pickup that does not cover bridge pickup. if that's the case, i am wrong. but 412V is around 250GBP not 70GBP.

The V model is the new one, this is the older version. the shop that traded it did not know it was a 412, they thought it was a 012 hence me picking up a stone cold bargain!

@Wumbo20 The 112v has a push up knob that enables the humbucker to act as a single coil, the 412 doesn't. The 412 has a body with flame veneer top. They both have Alnico IV pickups (humbucker and single coils). Pickguard is smaller on the 112v and leaves the humbucker directly screwed to the body wich is not a bad thing for resonance.

I have a PAC 412D. I dont know what is this "D"... Can be because my guitar have golden bridge and tuners and paint like "sand"or "a tiger skin"???

help me. I never see another PAC xxx D here in Brazil...

I also have a PAC 412, but the newer version - with black pickguard, that smaller than on your guitar. And I am very hapy withn this guhitar! Even Stevie Ray Vaughan tones I can get out of it from pos neck/middle.
