Absolutely. Dave's the godfather of the modern movement. It's risky, and a lot of work. Dave even published a handbook some years back, the Cerebus Guide To Self-Publishing. There are even print on demand places online now, so you don't need to do huge print runs.

This was my first panel since 1988. (Allen Freeman) and I was on a panel again this year at SPACE. "Old Timers Rant".
