so why can't we see a bit more working together to achieve this...or are all these men too petulant and childish to even consider co-operating with each other?
Well the Tories are more than willing to work with the Government when they agree with the Government's policies. Mr Cameron runs his party in the way its founder, Sir Robert Peel did in the 1830's. Peel claimed the Conservatives in opposition should support government bills they agree with and do not simply become a dogmatic opposition. In Mr Cameron's first PMQ's with Mr Blair he promised to help the Government carry through parts of the education reform that the Tories agreed with.
right well the opposition should oppose the government when it doesn't agree but also to support the govt. when it agrees. so i think he's doing great in agreeing with some things
Looking at this from the perspective of someone who's not been indoctrinated with a particular party (I'm 15, and before you all start going 'what do you know, you're only 15', I don't pretend to know much about this...merely commenting) I've never understood what the benefit of all the competition in politics is...backstabbing between the tories and labour for example...all politicians should really ultimately want the same thing; to make their country better...continued...
