The no-cone sundae is extremely good!!! Instead of making a bunch of strawberry puree, I just vigorously muddled two good size strawberries with the 1oz of vanilla simple syrup in the bottom of my mixing glass.The drink could possibly use a little less mixer ingredients (say 1/2 - 3/4 oz of each instead of 1oz). The bourbon flavor is there, but its overly masked by the large volume of mixers. All in all, a must try drink. Its definitely one of my new favorites!

I learned from you how to make simple syrup (and I thank you for that because all the store bought stuff has high fructose corn syrup in it)
How do I make the vanilla simple syrup she uses in this drink.
And is the strawberry puree just strawberries in the food processor?

Esquire actually recommends a double shake on any drink with egg white. The first shake is done without ice to get the drink frothy, and the second is done with ice cold.
