  • This was so beautiful that I wanted to share it with everyone. Too bad you did not list any of the names of the actors. Most of the younger people who I showed it to had no idea who they were looking at. Also I love the way some of the old pictures were colored! Amazing. Where did u find those???

  • @skie763

Thank you so much for your comment.

If you will go back and look for Irwin 1021 (highlighted in blue) you will notice an image of two short marks in a box. Next to the number of views. Click on that and you will see all the names of the actors in order of appearance. I've spent the last three years collecting images and I am planning a second part to 'Somewhere in Time" Also many new slideshows coming soon. Thanks again!

  • good job, Id like to know if you can make one similar with mexicans actors and actreses

  • @FCOHERTZ

I''m working on a number of video projects that i hope to put up soon. -Irwin

  • Wow, what faces and what music. Since I'm kind of remembering the passing of Carole Lombard this month, this was a real treat! Thanks

  • If Hollywood Forever, Westwood, and all them were smart they'd have this video playing on a continuous loop on flat screen TVs all over their memorial parks.... Bravo.

  • thank you for beginning with anna mae wong, and for ending with that great pic of young stanwyck.

gene tierney is of another period...

leslie howard is totally my type but I always fall for the gilbert roland type. LOL

the music creates quite a mood, it almost makes me believe these people were more important, more interesting than everyday people. reminds me of mahler's adagietto.

  • 7:20 there is a name missing between jean harlow and joan crawford/dana andrews.

  • great video , thanks

  • This was absolutely gorgeous, beautiful, wonderfully exhibiting the precious actors & actresses of the Golden Age of Hollywood...I am just beginning my site and I am dedicated it to that wonderful era! I can appreciate what you have done in this video and the pain staking task it must have took you to put it all together. I know how time consuming it must have been however once you were done....Well there it stands your masterpiece! Thank you very much, Kathleen

  • And this music!! I absolutely love John Barry's scores!!!!!!

  • What a great line up of old-time actors and actresses. I was sitting here and wondering if even one of them is still living. I couldn't think of any that are.

  • This was a time when elegance and class was the norm! morality was strictly

enforced socially. True talent was exspected of a actor or actress, and the fashions

were totally beautiful with great lines and becoming colors. This era may never be

    again.

  • Very lovely video. Thanx for posting. Thanx for sharing Maya. :-))
