10-07-2001 Michigan and Michigan State college hockey teams meet for an outdoor match, breaking the attendance record for a hockey match with 74,000 on hand. Includes interviews with Mike Cammalleri (who scored twice for the Wolverines) and Ryan Miller (in net for the Spartans). My apologies for the video quality. It was made in 2001.

Michigan has played in three straight outdoor games. camp randall in 2009, The Big Chill in 2010, and now the progressive field outdoor game.

Why would the NHL play at Ford Field? It's indoors. The Winter Classic next year will probably be at Yankee Stadium or Wrigley Field.
