India's boom benefits European businesses - 1 June 08

India's booming economy is having unexpected benefits in Europe, with a wave of investment creating thousands of jobs in east Germany.

Al Jazeera's Tim Friend reports on one business in Dresden where Indian money has harnassed German efficiency.

Down: The answer lies in India's history. India had the world's highest GDP in abt 1749. In 1947 when India gained independence we were abt 45th. The British had drained us of our wealth and totally crippled our industry making us dependent on foreign goods.

After independence we had to face challenges from hostile neighbors, enforcing nationalism in a multi-ethnic society and high population to name just a few.

Finally, having laid the foundation we are now set to move forward..

india in 1749 ranked world's highest GDP...that was the time India was administered by Muslim rulers based on strong social ,moral and relegious values...todays leadership is no way capable to reach to that glory because they dont have moal .
